Paola Negri is the HR & Organization Director of REVO SpA.
From 2016 to August 2021 Paola was Italy HR Director at RGI, a software vendor active in the insurance market. Previously, she worked for Vodafone for about 20 years covering roles of increasing responsibility in the HR field. She thus gained a consolidated experience in the IT sector of the telco and insurance industry, both in the local and international market, in an ever-changing multicultural context. Paola has a long-standing track record in the design and rollout of key initiatives in engagement, employer branding, talent attraction, development and retention. She holds a Political Science degree from the University of Turin.
Giovanni Poccobelli is REVO’s Chief Data and Analytics Officer.
Giovanni Poccobelli is our Chief Data and Analytics Officer. He has extensive experience in data analytics and research in the financial market industry, with a focus on asset management. He started his career in Oxford as a Research Data Analyst at Winton Capital Management and went on to create the Data Analytics department at AKO Capital Management in London. He then served as a Senior Quantitative Researcher at H2O Asset Management, where he also held managerial responsibilities. Giovanni holds a BSc in Economics and Management from Bocconi University, as well as an MSc in Quantitative Economics from Université catholique de Louvain and an MSc in Statistics from University College London.
Simone Lazzaro is REVO’s Chief Underwriting Officer.
From 2014 to July 2020, he served as Head of Mid Corporate, Reinsurance and APP Broker of Allianz Italy. Previously, he has covered different positions at Allianz, where he spent the last 16 years of his career before joining REVO in 2021. From 2001 to 2004, he served as Officer in the Scientific Investigations Group of Carabinieri. Simone graduated in Economics in 2001 from the La Sapienza University of Rome, where, in 2003, he obtained a Masters in Financial Management for Insurance.
Jacopo Tanaglia is REVO’s Chief Financial Officer.
Jacopo has a decade-long experience in the insurance sector, having worked since 2009 at Cattolica Assicurazioni, where he held several managerial and executive roles, such as Investment Manager and Head of the M&A division of the Group. Prior to joining Cattolica Assicurazioni, Jacopo focused on financial advisory and M&A at Tamburi Investment Partners, where he specialized in valuation and structuring of direct investments as a Senior Analyst. He started his career in 2005 at Deloitte’s audit division and in 2006 he graduated from Bocconi University’s MSc in Accounting, Financial Management and Control.
Alberto Minali is REVO’s CEO.
In August 2020, Alberto was appointed by Pope Francis as Member of the Council for the Economy of the Holy See. From June 2017 to October 2019 Alberto was CEO of Cattolica Assicurazioni. He also held the position of Chief Financial Officer of Generali Group from 2012 to 2017 and during the last year of his mandate he was appointed General Manager of the Group. Prior to joining Generali, Alberto founded Eskatos Capital Management Sarl, which at the time managed a series of funds specialized in the insurance space. Previously, Alberto was Chief Financial Officer and Chief Investment Officer of Eurizon Group, today part of Intesa Sanpaolo. Alberto started his career as a reinsurance underwriter back in 1991 in the company market of Llody’s of London; during his professional life he held different roles in actuarial and asset management functions both at Generali and Allianz Group. Alberto graduated in Economics from Bocconi University in 1989 and, during his studies, he attended exchange programs at Brandeis University (Boston, MA.) and Yale University (New Haven, Conn.). He is married and has two daughters.
Claudio Costamagna is REVO’s Chairman.
Since 2006, Claudio operates through his own strategic advisory firm, CC & Soci. He currently serves as an independent director for FTI Consulting, a consultancy firm listed on NASDAQ, Finarvedi, Italiana Petroli, Salini Costruttori and Ferragamo Finanziaria. From May 2015 to July 2018 he served as Chairman of Cassa Depositi e Prestiti. Claudio has covered several managerial positions over his 20 years in the European Investment Banking division of Goldman Sachs, where he was Chairman until 2006. Claudio graduated from Bocconi University.
Stefano Semolini is REVO’s General Counsel.
From July 2017 to May 2020, Stefano was Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary/Head of Legal Affairs and Compliance Service of Cattolica Assicurazioni. From May 2006 to June 2017, he held different positions at Banco Popolare, such as Head of the Secretariat and of Territorial Relations, Chief Secretary of the Board of Directors, member of Board of the Group’s Pension Fund and Corporate Affairs Specialist. Between 2004 and 2006, Stefano was Chief Legal Officer and Group Compliance Service at Arca Vita and Arca Assicurazioni. Previously, Stefano held different positions in the legal teams of Italian insurance companies and worked as a freelancer. In 1995, Stefano graduated in Law from the University of Modena.
