Alberto Minali graduated in Economics from Bocconi University in 1989 and, during his studies, he attended exchange programs at Brandeis University (Boston, MA.) and Yale University (New Haven, Conn.). He is married and has two daughters. In August 2020, he was appointed by Pope Francis as Member of the Council for the Economy of the Holy See. From June 2017 to October 2019 Alberto was CEO of Cattolica Assicurazioni. He also held the position of Chief Financial Officer of Generali Group from 2012 to 2017 and during the last year of his mandate he was appointed General Manager of the Group. Prior to joining Generali, Alberto founded Eskatos Capital Management Sarl, which at the time managed a series of funds specialized in the insurance space. Previously, Alberto was Chief Financial Officer and Chief Investment Officer of Eurizon Group, today part of Intesa Sanpaolo. Alberto started his career as a reinsurance underwriter back in 1991 in the company market of Llody’s of London; during his professional life he held different roles in actuarial and asset management functions both at Generali and Allianz Group.
Elena Pistone graduated in Interpreting and Translating, SSIT from the University of Turin in 2000. In 2019, she attended the International Directors Programme – Corporate Governance at INSEAD University in Paris. She worked at SEICA in Turin as a Marketing and Communication Specialist from 2003 to 2005. Subsequently, from 2005 to 2010, she held the position of Program Manager at Vodafone Italia. From 2010 to 2019, she moved to the company RGI S.p.A. serving first as Head of Marketing & External Relations, and then as Chief of Corporate Services from 2019 to 2020. In 2020, she co-founded the company WESMARTi Insurtech S.r.l., where she was CEO until December 2020. In 2021, she founded Elaasta S.r.l., of which she is Managing Partner. She is Independent Board Director in ICT Board Group Confindustria Canavese from 2019.
In 1985 Ignazio Rocco di Torrepadula graduated in Economics and Business from the University of Naples Federico II. In 1986 he joined Aeritalia S.p.A. (now Alenia) as a Business Analyst. From 1986 to 1988 he was a Credit Inspector at the Istituto Mobiliare Italiano. Between 1988 and 1991 he worked for the Akros Group as a Credit Risk Officer. From 1992 to 2000 he was Consultant, Principal, Partner & Managing Director at The Boston Consulting Group (BCG). Between 2001 and 2002, he was Co-CEO of the company 21 Network S.p.A., Gruppo 21 Investimenti. Between 2003 and 2015, he was Senior Partner & Managing Director at The Boston Consulting Group (BCG). Since 2015, he has held the role of Founder & CEO at Credimi S.p.A. and Senior Advisor at Tikehau Investment Management.
